| Cream Filled Strawberries |
1 pound fresh strawberries
1 - 8oz pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 - 3oz pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
grated chocolate |
Remove stems from strawberries, cut a deep X in the tip of each berry. Gently spread berries open.
In a small bowl, beat the cream cheeses, confectioners (or powdered) sugar and the extract until light & fluffy. Pipe or spoon about 2 teaspoons into each berry, spinkle with grated chocolate. Chill until serving. Yields: 3 Dozen |
